PROJECT

All children deserve the right to a education but many children instead are forced into child labor. Every October in Nepal hundreds of thousands of children are forced to work in brick kilns, instead of going to school. In the kiln children as old as 6 have to carry bricks on there backs, 12 hours a day, and 6 days a week. People working in the brick kilms only get $2.00 for every 1000 bricks they carry. The kiln is very dangerous where anyone can easily fall and hurt themselves.   Children are especially vulnerable.   Due to the recent earthquake the need for bricks is even higher which means that more workers are needed to carry bricks which may mean more chillren working.

Anything you can spare can help, and when you donate you are changing the life of a child as well as families and communities. We are working with The Advocacy Project and together we hope to raise enough funds to help at least 6 children. With help from people like you we will be able to make a small but important difference in the lives of children in Nepal.
